*Very mellifluous music, in a cosy setting, sitting a meter or so near the artist.
*He sang very well, especially the manodharma part – both the alapana and the swaras were superb.
*Purvikalyani stood out for me, what a pleasing alapana, commendable neraval and brilliant swaraprasthana.
*Some interesting selection of kritis, like the Dikshitar’s dhanyasi piece and the devarnama in neelambari ; not often heard in concert.
*Srikanth, after some adjustments ( to the small room) played very well, especially the second half of the concert.
*If I may make a suggestion, it would be to keep a watch on the diction. Otherwise, he is a superbly talented musician. Hope to hear him soon. I missed the evening concert of his at Sevasadan.
