What an awesome concert it was !  Kharaharapriya , Sankarabharanam , Ranjani ..every alapana and rendition were superb.  I havn’t heard a ranjani alapana like this, for quite a while. It was outstanding.  The concert went on for almost Three and half an hour and the crowd was spell bound with the performance of the artists yesterday. Patri Satishkumar and Amruth supported the viloninsts superbly and his following of the Pallavi was amazing. The Tani Avartanam was also good winning accolades from the crowd. This will definitely be one of the concert lingering in memory for a long long time.

I agree, it would be in the nostalgic memories of Carnatic lovers !!

I have alread updated about TK Murthy’s program. Not decided on attending that.

Haha…seems to be everyone’s complaint! Odakathur Math was indeed an ideal and nice place…but fortunately for me, this is the first time that a venue is actually moving closer to my place so i probably would attend many concerts! 🙂

And just for information, there is a workshop by T K Murthy sir this weekend. Think I would be going for that too.

Anyway, we might just meet in those ‘few’!

Thanks Rahul and it was one good concert. The venue for Gokulashtami is bit far from where my Office is located and not sure if I can attend the concerts on weekdays. The weekend concerts aren’t very inspiring ! However, I should be making some excuses to be there for a few..

I couldn’t agree less with you!
I went to the concert with absolutely no expectations…haven’t heard any reviews about them and WOW!!wat an amazing concert
It was so relaxed that i didnt mind sitting a while more.

Anyway…it would be nice to meet up in one of the gokulashtami concerts.
