Lot of rarely heard krithis sung in this concert. Both shanmukhapriya and the sahana krithis are not often heard. Large variety of composers. These are the main positives of the concert. She was excellent during the neraval of keeravani.
There were too many distractions for me to enjoy the concert. Mosquito menace , issues with Tambura , people talking , sounds of vessels and spoons , and few phone calls 🙂 which I had to take walking out did dampen the enjoyment.
On her part, Gayathri Venkataraghavan did a good job. Shanmukhapriya , sahana and the main keeravani alapanas were good.
