The large hall of NMKRV Auditorium was full, when we reached the venue. We managed to get some seat at the balcony. It too was full in no time. People were standing to listen to him. TMK gave another brilliant concert today in his usual style. The substitute ( replacement) violinist was the pick of the day. She accompanied TMK marvellously and excelled whenever she had her chance. Called on to replace Charulatha Ramanujam , who couldn’t make it due to some issues, Amrutha Murali had done a phenomenal job. Arjun Kumar was also superb matching to the slow paced rendering of TMK.
Interestingly there are no Thyagaraja Krithis, until the closing tukdas.
